CONTROLLER OPERATIONS DIVISION
SUMMARY OF BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN

The Controller Operations Division’s (COD) business continuity and recovery process includes a plan of action to facilitate specific operations and tasks relative to executing critical activities under special conditions resulting from an event. The specified processes included in the plan are as follows:

Organization Framework – COD has structured the reporting roles and responsibilities that will direct the actions required to notify, activate, mobilize and deploy its personnel during an event.

Resource Alignment – The positioning of the resources required to operate efficient and effective continuous operations are identified within this plan.  The skilled resources are strategically positioned to ensure that business operations continue.

Customer Notification and Operations – One of the primary objectives of this plan is to establish quick and effective communication with our customers, advising of our baseline business operations in a disaster.

Recovery Efforts – Day of Operations – This plan details specific tasks relative to meeting our established objectives for achieving business resumption.  Essential employees have been identified and briefed regarding their roles and responsibilities relative to COD’s operations.  Value has been placed on identifying and prioritizing our business expectation should the disaster operations become a reality.

Maintenance Plan – The overall maintenance of the plan is under the direction of the COD Director, who is the focal point and administrator for all COD maintenance and testing activities.  This plan cites activities that are necessary to keep the business continuity capability workable, cost-effective, and in line with the current operating environment.
