COURSE TITLE: INTEGRATED ACQUISITION SYSTEM (IAS)

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Lecture and hands-on workshops familiarize students on the functionality of the Integrated Acquisition System (IAS) invoice processes. This course assists agency personnel in their use of the Administrative Payments Branch (APB) Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System, IAS, and Foundation Financial Information System (FFIS) to support their acquisition operations involving the payment of vendor invoices in IAS.

ADVANCE PREPARATION:  None

PREREQUISITES: Basic knowledge of IAS processing (requisition, order, receipt, etc.)

COURSE LEVEL:  Basic

COURSE CONTENT:
- Overview of systems and data flow    
- Fundamentals of ECM, IAS, and FFIS
- Roles and responsibilities
- Demonstration of APB ECM and IAS processing
- Demonstration of ECM, IAS, and FFIS query capabilities
- Helpful tools available (e.g. system access, reporting, procedures/guides, etc.)
- Discussion of problem areas and lessons learned
- Guidance for compliance with Federal and Departmental invoice processing requirements
  
 
TARGET AUDIENCE: Subject matter trainees and experts who work with day-to-day IAS processes for their agency

TRAINING LOCATION: COD, New Orleans, Louisiana; the Customer Support Office in Washington, DC; or an agency site

Complete the COD Course Registration Form and submit via fax at 504-426-9740, at least 5 business days prior to the start of the session.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:  Requests for refund/cancellation must be received at least 5 business days prior to the start of the session.  Agencies will be billed for students registered.  Substitutions can be made up to the first day of the session.
